Matthew M. Williams, ##Been Trill’s co-founder and designer of NYC-based cult clothier, ALYX, has combined efforts with NIKE (and Nick Knight!) to bring about a capsule collection that pushes the parameters around performance apparel. Underwritten by the sportswear/tech juggernaut, the range will include accessories, tops and trousers with prodigious avant-garde-meets-futurist pep. We love the brand ALYX for its collision of streetwear iconography, pragmatic luxury and elevated quality. And we love NIKE for being always future-proof and way ahead of the competition.
Leveraging the ‘AAE’ template — NIKE’s endeavor to re-engineer utilitarian fabrics/textiles — this kinetic collab incorporates bio-mechanical, ‘data-driven’, cutting-edge CAD and interactive technologies that makes the gear extra fly and functional. The first wave drops around July 13 at select spots. Nick Knight, the master blaster of hyper-real photography, lensed the whole campaign. It looks flawless!
