Hailing from Tokyo’s rowdydowdy Harajuku district, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu evolved from a nubile kawaii kitten to a mega popstar songstress in just a few years. She debuted PONPONPON back in 2012 and now has about 140 million views under her belt and counting.
Perennially kooky with videos of her bouncing on pogo sticks and ripping rainbow farts, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu is a psychotic synthesis of Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, surreal Japanese anime and bubblegum electro-pop insanity.
