Natalia Stuyk’s Pretty Prismatica
The multimedia Hackney girl is bringing her multi-sensory madness to Galeria Melissa soon. Yay!
Mixed media artist Natalia Stuyk is known for her zestful iridescent storms and surreal opaline forms. From GIFs and fashion films to moving image and music video, she excels at crafting delightful digital works for labels likes Kenzo, Nike, MAC and Melissa. Lucky for New Yorkers, the London-based virtuoso is bringing her pretty prismatic pizzazz to Galeria Melissa in Soho. There she will implement an IRL installation called ESCAPE TO PARAÍSO filled with shimmering 3D shards (think the amazing Zane Lewis) and optical razzle-dazzle that will flabbergast your brain. Deploying dichroic film and geometric cutouts in league with SOFTlab NYC, Natalia’s purple/magenta haze and irised auras will amp up your art/fashion experience in exponential ways. Peep a few pics below. The installation goes live on September 2nd at 500 Broadway, NYC. Great work, Natalia!
