An Electric Tokyo Love Story from SAINT LAURENT
“As long as the seagull loved the sea, as long as the sunflower sought the sun, two lives shall be as one.”
Anthony Vaccarello and art director Nathalie Canguilhem joined forces again to make a slick and sappy vid that swells with motorcycling casanovas, glitchy VHS visuals, rogue geishas drenched in fuchsia, super-stylized Shogun “愛” warriors patrolling the Tokyo underground, and mega-sexy muses Mica Arganaraz, Anja Rubik, Adut Akech sauntering around the city. Done with a word overlay of ‘Her Voice’ from Oscar Wilde, the short is an electric Tokyo love saga that reminds us of a Nicholas Winding Refn movie mashed-up with gleaming future glam and mushy pulpy poetry. VIVISXN loves anything Anthony Vaccarello x SAINT LAURENT! Peep the perfect film after the pretty poetry below.
