On Our Radar: ‘Random Identities’
First unfurled in 2017, fashion pimp Stefano Pilati’s super-cool project, Random Identities, is a limited range of ready-to-wear gear primed for our digitized, ADHD-era style preferences. Fetching a premium due to its scarcity value and fostering an aesthetic that is both functional and fierce, Random Identities is a gender bender of a brand, but one that isn’t too OTT, PC or cheesy.
Embodying stark detailing, melancholic moods and cunning construction, we love the brand’s intrinsic wearability, clever paradoxes and poignant prints. Standouts include the quilted bombers, ‘anti-logo’ T-Shirts and the well-crafted ‘Worker Boots.’ The production runs are limited and the label is only stocked at select boutiques. Get some while you can. Props, Stefano Pilati!
