Kim K robbed of $9.7 mil at gunpoint by faux cops at posh Paris hotel
In what has become the biggest viral news story of the day for most of the ‘developed’ world, last night Kim Kardashian West was robbed at gunpoint at a luxury residence in Paris by a crack squad of tricksters dressed as French cops, according to her publicist and a police report. She stayed at the ritzy Hotel de Pourtales, right behind Paris’s Madeleine church, on at least one occasion before, in 2014 before she got hitched to Ye. “The loss amounts to several million euros, mostly jewelery. The total amount is still being evaluated,” said French authorities. So what went down? The concierge led the goons to Kim’s room, where they tied her up in the bathroom. She was, according to her PR, “very badly shaken and traumatized but physically unharmed.” She then skidaddled on her private jet back to NYC. CNN said the robbery was carried out by multiple masked men with guns. French authorities told the Associated Press news agency that they were seeking five assailants who “ransacked the porter and forced their way into the house, gagging Kim and locking her in the bathroom.” A bling box containing valuables worth €6 million was snatched, as well as a ring worth €4 million and a few cell phones Reuters reported, citing police officials. It is unclear if Kimye‘s two kids, three-year-old daughter North and 10-month-old son Saint, were present at the time of the heist. The reality TV star was in Paris for the city’s fashion week with her mum Kris Jenner and her sexy sis Kendall. They had just left a SURFACE MAG party/dinner in honor of Azzedine Alaïa. Yeezy was playing a show at the time at Meadows Music and Arts Festival in Queens, New York. When he was told about the stickup, he abruptly ended his set and left the stage, citing a “family emergency” (video here). And in keeping with truly important news, last week — the BBC adds — Kim was approached by prankster Vitalii Sediuk who tried to kiss her on her bubble butt (he was thwarted, though, by a bodyguard – below). We’re just glad Kim is safe! Check her Twitter for updates. Hopefully the French government will try a little harder to combat criminals and terrorists there, or else it will continue to suffer from a lack of foreign tourism, which is down substantially in 2016.
